The Maritech® range of fucoidan extracts has clinical potential in a wide range of therapeutic applications including adjunct therapies, medical devices and orphan drugs. Marinova has a successful track record in partnering with international pharmaceutical companies to develop and supply fucoidan fractions for pharmaceutical and medical device applications. Marinova is the only international fucoidan company able to produce cGMP manufactured pyrogen-free fucoidan products that meet strict United States Food and Drug Administration pharmaceutical ingredient regulations. Our fucoidan represents one of the first natural product molecules to meet these stringent regulations.
In addition to our collaborations where Marinova is developing active pharmaceutical ingredients, we also seek expressions of interest from potential partners who may wish to develop and commercialise nutraceutical and skin care applications. For either of these areas, Marinova will consider entering into exclusivity arrangements with partners.
