Marinova has been named Australia's most outstanding contributor to international health in the nation's prestigious Australian Export Awards.

Australia's largest and longest running export awards program was held at Parliament House in Canberra on 26 November, highlighting excellence across 14 different categories. The International Health category showcases ‘outstanding success in the fields of health, medical or wellbeing’, celebrating innovative exporters in the fields of biotechnology, biosecurity, medical technology, digital health, e-health, aged care, disability, complementary health, pharmaceuticals and related services.

Minister for Trade and Tourism, Senator the Honourable Don Farrell, commended the country's top exporters noting, "Australia’s exporters make a significant contribution to Australia’s economic prosperity. They create thousands of jobs in our regions and cities, taking the best of Australia to the world and enhancing our reputation as a strong and trusted trading nation and partner."

Marinova exports its unique range of bioactive fucoidan extracts to more than 40 countries across the globe. Sustainably sourced and clinically validated, Marinova's fucoidan ingredients are sought after by some of the world's most trusted healthcare brands for inclusion in market-leading nutritional supplements, functional foods and beverages, skincare formulations, and animal health products. The company also supplies high purity fucoidan compounds for global pharmaceutical research.

Accepting the award, Marinova's Business Development Manager, Mr Rod Shelley, highlighted the collective passion of the company's personnel as key to its global success. "As the world leader in fucoidan science, Marinova specialises in the research, development and production of highly bioactive seaweed extracts for the betterment of human health," he said. "All our team members share a genuine drive for manufacturing products of superior quality with exceptional scientific credentials. We are delighted to be recognised as Australia's leading exporter in the international health category.”
