Australian Organic Awareness Month

Australian Organic Awareness Month (or AOAM) is the nation’s largest campaign promoting the certified organic industry across all market categories - from fresh produce and cosmetics through to dietary supplements and pet food.

Each September in Australia, a spotlight is shone on the importance of choosing certified organic. Consumers are reminded that organic products extend far beyond what they eat and drink. For example, today it is possible to buy clothing made from organic textiles or use skincare products created using natural, organically produced ingredients.

The theme of this year's AOAM is ‘Why Organic?’ Across Australia, consumers are being reminded why choosing certified organic is so important, and to look for organic certification logos on their purchases.

Speaking of the nationwide push, Marinova’s Marketing & Communications Manager, Amanda Mackinnon, said, “Marinova is dedicated to producing the highest quality fucoidan extracts on the market. Organic certification forms a critical part of this offering. The quality and integrity of our ingredients sets Marinova apart from all other fucoidan suppliers.”
