Marinova presents cancer research at Vitafoods Europe
Vitafoods Europe is a global nutraceutical event that was held in 2016 at Geneva, Switzerland, from the 10th – 12th May. Marinova’s Business Development Manager, Mr Kevin Krail, had the pleasure of presenting Marinova’s latest research on fucoidan and cancer at the event, displayed on one of forty scientific posters that were showcased.
Each year Vitafoods Europe brings together a range of professionals within the nutraceutical industry to discover the latest market trends, innovations and scientific developments. The event is segmented into four distinct sectors: ingredients and raw materials; finished products; contract manufacturing; and services and equipment. With an industry-leading conference program, scientific poster display and over 900 exhibitors, it is seen as one of the best global events to discover, network and develop markets within this growing industry.
Marinova’s scientific poster, titled ‘Fucoidans as possible anti-cancer agents’, was very well received by the audience and highlights the latest cancer research findings on Marinova’s Maritech® fucoidan ingredients.
Further clinical research on these ingredients in cancer models are currently underway in Australia and the US, with a number of publications expected to be released throughout 2016 and 2017.
