New graduate program creating biotechnology leaders
Australian biotechnology company Marinova Pty Ltd is delighted to announce the launch of the Marinova Graduate Program – a professional one year program designed to support the next generation of fucoidan experts.
Marinova is the global leader in research, development and manufacture of fucoidan compounds – highly bioactive polysaccharides derived from select species of brown seaweed. High purity fucoidan is an innovative ingredient sought after for inclusion in a range of nutritional, cosmetic and animal health applications.

Our exceptional leadership team will be mentoring our first graduate over the course of the next 12 months, providing experience across all facets of the company’s operations. Rising to the fore of a highly competitive field in the program’s inaugural year was Dr Ellie Paine. “Dr Paine has recently completed her PhD in seaweed biochemistry and is passionate about pursuing a career in biotechnology,” said Mr Garrott. “We are thrilled to have a graduate of her calibre joining the Marinova team.”
Dr Paine commented on her bright future in fucoidan science, “I have followed Marinova with keen interest whilst completing my PhD with the aim of one day contributing to the company’s remarkable innovation. I am very excited to be learning directly from the global experts and fast tracking my knowledge of fucoidan.”
